During the crystallization process of flamenco styles, some variations did not find an audience or became buried in an artist’s repertoire, only to be brought to light decades later through the development of flamencology.

Since 2010, Flamenco has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List, and since then, a lot of research has been done, and ‘beautiful pearls have surfaced.’ In this program, we approach the styles from their lesser-known versions, hidden details, or lost coplas, rarely heard style variants, and some surprises in the dance. Gems and pearls of singing and dancing to show us that flamenco from its early days can still surprise us, resulting in a beautiful program full of art, humor, and beauty.
